This module gives participants a crash course in newspaper writing. By the end of the course, participants will fully understand the basic principles of newspaper writing and will have the ability to write their own article. There will also be open discussion about the newspaper industry in general, and an opportunity to find out more about what the role of a journalist entails. For those keen to pursue a career in journalism – whether in newspapers, magazines or digital media - there will be opportunity to consult News Editors and Editors for advice.
