Module Description:

RLAM offer a module that focuses on leadership. There are two main activities. The first requires students, working in small teams, to share information, solve problems and make decisions. Does a leader emerge in each team or do teams try to complete the task without the focus and guidance a leader can provide? The second uses a questionnaire to identify different leadership styles and explore the circumstances where each different style is appropriate. As employees, people are likely to experience different approaches from those who lead and manage them. Understanding leadership issues will help students build effective relationships with those who lead them and help them work together to achieve their own and the teams objectives.
