St Angela's Ursuline : Serviam (to serve God and others)
School Information:
“St Angela’s Ursuline is in the borough of Newham. The school was established in 1862 by Ursuline nuns who were inspired by St Angela Merici, the school’s patron (a building and courtyard were also named after the saint).
The school has been very successful: the English department has won the Prince’s Trust English Award and the debating team has also won the Block Lawyers’ Directory. The school has won the Diana Award and Big Great Law debate.
One thing I like about St Angela’s is that there is a range of activities to take part in and there is a variety of extra-curricular trips to go.
In preparation for the Olympics, there have been a lot of presentations in assemblies. During the end of term assembly, seven special awards called the Olympic Values Awards were given out. These awards were for respect, friendship, excellence, determination, courage, equality and inspiration.” Student from St Angela’s Ursuline
Meet the Rep London group
“Students on the Rep London programme from St Angela’s Ursuline are in Year 10 and are currently taking their mock exams. About 50% of the group are taking Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and the rest are taking BTEC ICT.” Student from St Angela’s Ursuline
