Volunteering

CREATE11

CREATE is an annual festival that has brought together outdoor events, arts organisations, cultural industries and creative agencies across the Host Boroughs for London 2012. It has grown and been successful for four years now. CREATE is fortunate to be working in partnership with every influential stakeholder across the cultural, regeneration and political landscape, all those bodies which need to deliver for 2012.

The CREATE festival runs every summer, and last year attracted audiences of over 930,000. CREATE’s ethos is to connect the different, vibrant communities - living and working across the east of London - and to attract visitors who can drive the visitor economy. CREATE has brought together over 200 partners and stakeholders including outdoor festivals, commercial promoters, arts institutions and individual artists, as well as over 600 cultural groups across the region. Above that, it has attracted a range of corporate partners, including Deutsche Bank, as the main festival sponsor, to create something that is more than the sum of its parts that has excited all in the capital.
